The Laura Wooten Civics Law (2021) requires that every New Jersey middle school provide a separate course of study in civics. This free, all-day workshop will provide suggested curriculum guides, civics content and instructional strategies to help teachers meet the mandate in ways that motivates students to become informed and active citizens. The workshop will run from 8:30 - 3:00. Free textbook samples and a catered breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please bring a laptop. Internet access is available.
