The Laura Wooten Civics Bill requires that every middle school provide a course of study in civics, with the goal of engaging them in the civic life of their community, state, and nation. This workshop will provide content, suggested curriculum guides, and strategies to help teachers meet the mandate in a way that motivates students to become informed and active citizens.
